Tiff & John

Unlike a lot of brides, Tiffany new exactly what she wanted for her wedding flowers. I was sent three images from the bride-to-be. One image showed the buttonholes she had seen and wanted for her groom and groomsmen. Another image showed the bridesmaid bouquets she wanted, and the final image, was for her bridal bouquet.

Creating flowers from an image may seem simple. But there are expectations when an image is requested, so attention to detail is vital to ensure you are delivering the very thing the couple have requested.

Below shows the three images I was sent, along with the designs I created for the bride and groom.

Buttonholes: They loved the idea of having feathers instead of flowers. The image also showed a ball type end to the buttonhole, so I sourced some unique looking beads and managed to fix the feathers inside.

Bridal Bouquet: tiffany sent me an image she had taken from the front cover of a Paula Pryke Floral Bouquet hard cover. Needless to say that any image on the front cover of a floral hardback book is going to be at the higher end of the price range. I was aware of the budget for the bride and groom, and was able to create an almost identical replica of the bouquet. I found the exact feather wrap in the same shade, and use da mix of small, medium and large Calla Lily. All of this created the look Tiffany was desired.

Bridesmaid Posies: Tiffany wanted posies of gypsophilia with simple white ribbon bands. I was also given the bridesmaid dress colour shades. With this information, I was able to give a soft, subtle colour tone to each bridesmaid bouquet to match their dress colour.
